HYSLOP, DOUGLAS EVERETT - The death of Doug Hyslop of 62 River Road, Rothesay, husband of Mary Ellen (Kirkpatrick) Hyslop, occurred on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Toronto, Ontario, son of Emery and Hazel (Houghton) Hyslop he had been a resident of this city most of his life. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. Doug is survived by his wife and parents, two daughters Laura Susan, at home and Melissa Lawlor of Saint John, three brothers Brian E. (Donna) of Saint John, Dan W. (Jennifer) of Toronto and Brent C. (Wanda) of Sussex, four nephews Brad and Dean and Corey and Ben. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 pm and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. The funeral will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Monday, September 29, 2003 with service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Gondola Point Baptist Cemetery.
