STEVENS, ROBERT (BOB) BRUCE - Of Cody's, NB (born in Chipman, NB on November 12, 1924) went home to be with the Lord on September 26th, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a brief illness.?He is survived by his wife Betty Doreen (Silk) of 55 years, 10 children; Robert & Sue of Salisbury, Margie of Fredericton, Barak & Val of Coles Island, Bruce & Deb of Old Town, Maine, Liz Stevens-Pye & Bob of Lower Sackville, NS, John & Karen of Fredericton, Mary-Ellen MacNeill & Ted of Saint John, David & Tammy of Blacks Harbor, Mark & Heather of Cody's, Jeffrey of Cold Lake, AB, 35 grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Ronald, George and a sister Mary and infant granddaughter Danielle. He was a deacon at Faith Bible Baptist Fellowship of Sussex, NB. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Bob's request, there will be a private funeral and committal service. There will be visitation with the family at the Coles Island Lion's Hall on Monday, September 29, from 6:30 - 9:00 pm including a brief service at 7:00pm.
