STANDRING, LLOYD C. (ROBIN) - Our grandfather, Lloyd C. (Robin) Standring left us suddenly on the eve of his 82nd birthday, September 29, 2003. Predeceased by his loving wife Isabel (nee Mitton) in November of 1990, he will be greatly missed by all of us-- Rebekah, Susan, Jane, Sol, Jeff, Sarah, Roxanne, Daniel, Joseph, Issac, Heidi, Jonathan and Kate. Born in Saint John, NB on September 30, 1921, Lloyd was employed with the Federal Civil Service until his retirement in 1976. He was the son of the late John and Ella Standring. He resided at 264 Mactaquac Heights, NB for the last 30 years. He is survived by brothers Don (of Toronto, ON), Shug (Shirley, of Victoria, BC), sister Pat (Petrie of Fredericton, NB), daughters Sharrell (and David) and Brenda, and sons Jeff, Mark (and Judy) and Michael (and Nancy). A private family service will be held October 1, 2003 at the Scotch Settlement Cemetery. Friends of the family are invited to visit the Standring home at 264 Mactaquac Heights on Wednesday evening.
