ELIZABETH ANNE BUSHFAN
BUSHFAN, ELIZABETH ANNE - It is with great regret that the family announces the passing of Elizabeth Anne Bushfan. Beloved sister to Frances (Bushfan) Renwick and much loved by brother-in-law Roy Renwick of Scarborough, ON., favorite aunt to Michael Thomas of Toronto, ON and close friend to Nancy and Charles Ellis of Morrisdale, NB. Elizabeth was a long term resident of Carleton-Kirk Lodge Nursing Facility. She was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church and a member of the local handicapped association. She was very proficient at crafts and made some outstanding articles. In her younger years, she maintained a lovely apartment and in spite of her disability, worked very hard and was quite independent. Elizabeth was employed for several years as child care worker. She was born in Saint John, NB and was proud to be a "Maritimer". One of the Highlights of her life was presenting the Queen Mother with a gift on one of the Royal Visits to Saint John in the late 1960's. She will be sadly missed by her family, including cousins, aunts and her many friends. Arrangements entrusted to Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, NB., (634-1701) with a graveside service to be held Saturday, October 11, 2003 in Greenwood Cemetery at 2 pm with the Rev. Gordon Thompson officiating. Immediately following the interment, a time of fellowship and refreshment will be held at "Fallsview" Family Reception Center. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth's memory may be made to the Carleton-Kirk Lodge Nursing Home. Tributes may be placed or this notice viewed at www.castlefh.com.
