HAWKES, GERTRUDE LILLIAN MacCHARLES - Gertrude Lillian MacCharles Hawkes born January 25th, 1914 in Amherst, Nova Scotia passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on October 7, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband Howard W. Hawkes. She is survived by two sons; Ronald (Ruth) Hawkes of Woodstock, Bill (Sharon) Hawkes of Thunder Bay, Ontario; one daughter Sandra (Bev) Quatermain of Woodstock; thirteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Following cremation a graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery with Rev. Peter Mills officiating.
