BENTLEY, DORIS E. - It is with deep regret the family of the late Doris Evelyn (Fox) Bentley, announce the unexpected passing at her home, in her 89th year, on Thursday, October, 9th, 2003. Born in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late William and Irene (Segee) Fox. Doris is survived by her two daughters Phyllis Margo Cheyne (Harold) of Burlington, Ontario, Anna Marie Leitch and her late husband Bill of St. Thomas, Ont, one sister Shirley Keithlin (Arnold) of West Palm Beach, Florida, five grandchildren, Cathy, Margo, Sharon, Beth, David, six great grandchildren, Laura, Sarah, Jennifer, Patricia, Joshua and Ashley, several cousins, nieces and nephews, two dear friends Carol Van Doiran and Pleas Tibbetts. Doris was predeceased by her first husband Earl Vincent (Vince) Bentley and her second husband George Bentley, son William Vincent Bentley, granddaughter Cindy Gail, sisters Marion Gamble, Norma Hewett, brothers Vincent Fox, Kenneth Fox, Clifford Fox. By Doris' request there will be no visitation at the funeral home, however friends are welcomed to attend a service of rememberance to be held in the chapel of Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) on Wednesday, October 15th, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
