MULLIN, ELAINE ROSALIE - Peacefully, at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on October 18, 2003, Mrs. Elaine Rosalie (Atkinson) Mullin, wife of Paul V. Mullin of St. George, NB. Born in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, on February 18, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Agnes (Brown) Atkinson. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived, besides her husband, by two sons, Harold (Glenna) Ross of Letang, NB, and Gary (Diane) Johnson of Lunenburg, NS; one daughter, Wendy Mullin of Rothesay, NB; six grandchildren, Jeffrey (Shyanne) Ross of Utopia, NB, Jamie and Jennifer of Letang, Mark and Peter Johnson of Halifax, NS, and Dianna Saunders of Lunenburg, NS; three great-grandchildren, Savannah and Dawson Ross; and Mackenzie Saunders. Nanny to Matthew and Nicholas McMullin; two brothers, William (Cathy) Atkinson of Toronto, ON, Michael (Valerie) of Salisbury, NB; two sisters, Mary (James) MacIntosh of Anapolis Royal, NS, and Jane Simpson of Moncton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a son, Gary Ross; two brothers, Jack and Robert Atkinson; and two sisters, Eva Mullin and Edna Rogers. Grammie enjoyed hearing about her grandchildren's sports activities, and her earlier life at Canal Beach. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am from The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the St. George Funeral Home followed by interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the Fundy Nursing Home Building Fund or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
