SCRIBNER, EMILIA - The death of Mrs. Emilia (Tuniagaru) Scribner, of Newtown, Sussex, NB, wife of the late Thedore "Ted" Scribner, occurred Monday, October 20, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family. Emilia was born in Isis, Romania, and emigrated to Canada following World War II. She worked many jobs and many hours in family homes showing her commitment her family and new homeland. She is survived by her son Gregory Scribner of Sussex, four grandchildren; Denika, Laura, Ashley and Alex, sister-in-law, Blanche Hamilton and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 24, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
