MARJORIE LEONA TUCKER
TUCKER, MARJORIE LEONA - At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, on October 26, 2003, with her family by her side, Mrs. Marjorie Leona Tucker, in her 76th year, wife of the late Burpee Tucker Jr. of Letete. Born in Back Bay, on November 17, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Murray and Audella (Hooper) Leavitt. She is survived by children, Rudy (Irene) Tucker, Diane (Glendon) Tucker, Janice (Terry) Matthews, Philip (Nancy) Tucker, Allyson (David) Haddon, Teddy (Linda) Tucker, Roger (Barb) Tucker, Beverly (Kevin) Leslie, and Richard (Zelda) Tucker; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three aunts, Bertha Hatt, Roberta Dick and Margaret Justason; three step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Dolores (Bernie) Bloom of Saint John and Shirley (Mark) Fisher of Kingston, Ontario; several cousins. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Steet, St. George, with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 pm from The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel, followed by interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery.
