THORNE, GORDON MAURICE WILLIAM - Unexpectedly, at his residence, the death of Gordon Maurice William Thorne, of St. George, NB, occurred on October 27, 2003, husband of Bonnie (Shephard) Thorne. Born in Blacks Harbour, NB on August 23, 1960, he was a son of Phyllis (Carr) Thorne and the late Darrell M. J. Thorne. A loving husband and father, Maurice is survived by his wife, Bonnie, five children, Glendon, Gordie, Lauza, Harry and Maurice; three sisters, Kim (Larry) Vance, Tammy (Phillip) Voutt, and Beverley (Jean Rock) Bernard; one brother, James Allen Thorne; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Maurice had been employed as Operations Manager with Silver Hatchery for nine years. A memorial service will be held from The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the funeral home on Saturday, November 1st at 2 pm. Interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery.
