(Bett) Marie (nee McCann) (Formerly of Gull Island) Passed suddenly in the presence of her loving family on July 5, 2008. Elizabeth (Bett) Marie Howard. aged 76 years. Predeceased by her husband Brendan (2000); parents Agnes and Jeremiah McCann; sisters Bride, Nell and Anne; brothers Pat, Dan, Jim, Phil, and Denis. Left with fond and loving memories her children and grandchildren: Dan (Vera) Joan, Elizabeth, Victoria and Leslie, Dominic (Elaine) Robyn and Jenny, Brenda (Gerard Coombes) Brendan, Stephanie, Maddie and great-grandchild Riley, Bob (Lynn Moore) Justine, Chantel, Kayla (their mother Janet Laidley) Rachel and Ben, Daphne (Rob Leitch) Eliza, Clare and Iain, Colleen (Tom King) Jenna and Ethan; brothers: Peter (Theresa), John (Cis), Edward (Anita), Bill (Edna) and Ben (Philomena); sisters-in-law: Ann Lawlor, Irene Howard, Kay McCann and Kay McCann; brother-in-law: Ex (Alicia) Howard as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 2-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church.
