HACHEY, FRANK JOSEPH - The death of Frank Joseph Hachey, husband of Norma Hachey, occurred on October 30, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Paquetville, NB, he was the son of the late Xavier and Lucille (Mazerolle) Hachey. He was employed as a laborer with various construction companies before his retirement. His passion was woodworking and he enjoyed fishing and bingo. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters Cheryl Jewett (John) of Hillsbough, ON, Ingrid Tobias of Saint John, Jana Hachey (Bill Scoville) of Saint John, Sheena Fairley (Doug) of Whistler, BC, Shauna Hachey of British Columbia, his brothers Camille Hachey and his wife Rachel of Fredericton, half-brothers Ernest Blanchard and his wife June of Saint John, Albert Blanchard and his wife Kay of Bowmanville, ON, sisters Reginald Caissie of Tracadie, NB, Margaret Tobias of Saint John, Phyllis Rickard of Maugerville, NB, half-sister Jessie Getson of Fredericton, his nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sons Dwight and Dwayne, his sisters Emily, Lucille and Kathleen, his step-father Joe Blanchard, and his step-brothers Vernon, Melbourne, Russell, and Clifford. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, November 3, 2003, at 10:00 AM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
