AUDRIE LORRAINE (MOORE) DREYER
DREYER, AUDRIE LORRAINE (MOORE) - The death of Audrie Lorraine Dreyer, wife of Emil Dreyer of 20 Broadway, Kennebecasis Park, occurred at Loch Lomond Villa on Wednesday, November 5, 2003. Born in Saint John, N.B. She was the youngest daughter of the late Percy E. Moore and Sadie Alberta (Vincent) Moore. She graduated from Saint John High School in 1941 and was active in class reunions. She served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII, was a long time employee of the N.B. Telephone Company as business office supervisor, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was long time member of the former Victoria Street Baptist Church having sung in the church choir, taught Sunday School, and was President of the Mattie Currie Chapter of the World Wide Guild. She is survived by her husband; son David (Diane) of Cambridge, Ont.; two granddaughters, Alicia and Jessica Dreyer; two sisters, Marjorie Mabey of Saint John, N.B. and Verna Blackwell of Sudbury, Ontario. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Anni Meyer of Germany and Hanna Topping of England as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brother Robert Moore of Ottawa, Ontario; sister-in-law, Mildred Moore; two brothers-in-law, Reginald (Ted) Mabey and William (Bill) Blackwell. The body is resting at Castle Funeral Home (Fallsview), 309 Lancaster Avenue, from where the funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 10th at 3:00p.m. conducted by Rev. Stephen McMullin of Main Street Baptist Church. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home are Saturday, Nov. 8 from 7-9 and on Sunday, Nov. 9th from 2-4 and 7-9. The family would appreciate donations to the Saint John Alzheimer's Society or a charity of individual choice.
