ROCCA, CATERINA - Caterina Rocca, 78, wife of Nicola Rocca, of Coverdale Road, Riverview passed away Saturday November 8, 2003 at The Moncton Hospital. Born February 24, 1925 in Sambiase, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio, and Giuseppina (Rocca) Mastroainni. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter Anna Spataro (Joseph) of Riverview, a son Saverio at home, a sister Giovanna Rocca (Filippo) of Saint-John, a brother Annibale Mastroainni of Italy, three grandchildren: Nick (Jackie), Melissa (Kevin), Gina (John); three great-grandchildren: twins Emma & Olivia, and Antonio. She is predeceased by a son Pasquale, a sister Louisa; two brothers: Pasquale, and Giovanni. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, Wednesday from 9 AM until time of departure (9:45). The funeral mass will be held at 10 AM Wednesday November 12, 2003 at Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church, Riverview. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. At the request of the family, memorial donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society, or Moncton Employments Training Services (METS) would be appreciated.
