McLEESE, HOWARD WARDEN - Peacefully, at the Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB on November 15, 2003, Mr. H. Warden McLeese, husband of late Myrtle (Spear) McLeese, formerly of Blacks Harbour, NB. Born at Back Bay, NB, on August 12, 1917 he was a son of a late Warden and Ethel(Hooper) McLeese. A loving father and grandfather, and brother he is survived by one daughter, Myrna Gillis of Quispamsis, NB, one stepsister Elaine Wright of Markham, ON., one granddaughter, Kelly Arsenault (David) of Saint John, two grandsons, Bob (Darlene) and Bill (Marg) Wright of Ontario, two great grandchildren, Gregory and Katlyn Arsenault of Saint John, two brothers, Vance (Audrey) McLeese of Toronto, ON and Seymour (Elaine) McLeese, of Back Bay, NB, two sisters, Leona Herron, (Austin) of McAdam and Jean Boudreau of Calgary, AB. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his wife he was predeceased by one brother, Clifton McLeese and three sister Clara McLeese, Helen McVicar and Fannie Cooke. Warden lived in Blacks Harbour most of his working life. He was a life long employee of Connors Brothers in Blacks Harbour until his retirement. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), with visiting on Monday, November 17, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A private family graveside service will be held at the St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date.
