GREEN , DOUGLAS C. - Passed away on November 22, 2003 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock, N.B. Douglas Cecil Green, of Bedell, N.B., was born on May 27, 1925 to the late Wellington and Willa Mae (Wood) Green. He survived by his wife, Connie Green of Bedell, N.B., Daughter- Bonnie Meikle (Bob) of Moncton, N.B., Grandsons- Brendan Green (Ginny) of Woodstock, N.B., and Ocdt. Phillip Meikle of Royal Military College in Kingston, Ont., one great grandson - Lucas Green, one brother, three sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by one son- Dr. Richard Green, one sister, and four brothers. Resting at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Rd. Jacksonville, N.B. where friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday November 24, 2003. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 25, 2003 at 11:00 am from the Woodstock United Baptist Church. Rev. Malcolm Card will be officiating. Interment will be held in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association, or the Carleton Animal Shelter.
