MILDRED ELLA MARSHALL
MARSHALL, MILDRED ELLA - The death of Mildred Ella (Vail) Marshall, formerly of St. Andrews, NB occurred at Kennebec Manor, Saint John, on Tuesday November 25, 2003. She was in her 93rd year. She was born at Summerhill Farm, Flume Ridge, NB on August 21, 1911. She was the daughter of Louis Vail and Clara (Boone) Vail. She spent her younger years in Brockway until she attended Normal School in 1927. In 1932 she married Lee Marshall of Bayside. She taught school in Bayside and St. Andrews, her teaching career spanned 36 years. She was a member of Wesley United Church, St. Andrews, the Milltown Chapter of Eastern Star and the Charlotte County Retired Teachers Association. She was an avid quilter for many years. She was pre-deceased by her husband Lee, son Olin, four brothers, five sisters, son in law Glendon Chambers, two grandchildren, Gerald Marshall and Cheryl Cushing. Survived by daughter in law Deanie Marshall, Mayfield; daughter Alice Chambers-Foster (Burton), New Dominion, PEI; Linda Turgeon (Rob), Kingston, NB; son Dale (Brenda), St. Stephen; son Daryl (Debbie), Mazerolle Sett. NB; sister Nona Flemming (Jack), Harrisburg, Pa, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at Wesley United Church, St. Andrews, NB on Saturday, November 29 at 2:00 pm.
