WAYNE MERTON PATTERSON
PATTERSON, WAYNE MERTON - The passing of Wayne Merton Patterson, 54, husband of Rose Marie Aurore (LeBlanc) Patterson of L'Etang, NB, occurred peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB, on November 25, 2003. Born in St. Stephen, NB on October 4, 1949, he was a son of Merton Hilliard Patterson and the late Florence Ida (Taylor) Patterson of L'Etang, NB. A loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, besides his wife, father and step-mother, Esther, he is survived by: one son, Philip Patterson (Paula) of Quispamsis; one daughter, Karen Patterson (Whitney) of Quispamsis; six grandchildren, Brittany, Victoria, Alexandria, MacKenzie, Tyler and Jarod, all of Quispamsis; one brother, Lance (Sandra) Patterson of L'Etang, NB; one sister, Melody (Bruce) Hanley of L'Etang, NB; one step-brother, Allen (Angela) Curran of Stillwater, NB; one step-sister, Gloria Stewart (Jeff Markey) of L'Etang, NB; father and mother-in-law, Ernest and Lucille LeBlanc of Moncton, NB; sisters-in-law, Jeanne McLaughlin (companion Harry Hussick) of Bailey, NB, Patricia LeBlanc of Moncton, NB, Louise LeBlanc of St. George, NB; brothers-in-law, Ernest LeBlanc Jr. (Donna) of Saint John, NB, Joseph LeBlanc (Angela) of Back Bay, NB, and Bernard LeBlanc (companion, Beth Stewart) of St. George, NB; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Wayne was pre-deceased by one sister, Michelle. Wayne enjoyed pickling, hunting and fishing. He had been a member of CEPU Local 523N and was employed by Lake Utopia Paper as an electrician for 32 years. By request, there will be no service or visitation. In Wayne's memory, donations made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
