ANDREWS, MARY McNAIRN - 1912 - 2003. Mary Andrews, 91, of Moncton and formerly of Saint John, NB, passed away at Moncton Hospital on Thursday, December 4, 2003. Born in Scotland on May 18, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (McNairn) Brown. She was a former member of the Nursing Profession, having practised nursing at the Saint John General Hospital, East Saint John T. B. Hospital and Provincial Hospital all located in Saint John, NB. She was a member of the War Brides, East Saint John Jarvis Bay Royal Canadian Legion, Loch Lomond Villa Seniors Club , Loch Lomond Auxiliary, the residents council and she was the first President of the Social Club at Stephenson Towers in Saint John. Her other interests include knitting and crocheting. She is survived by daughter: Margaret Beck of Moncton, son; Tony Chisholm of England, grandchildren; Scott (Wendy) of Riverview, Stacey Strahan (Jimmy) of Moncton, Clifford and Adam both of Scarborough, On. Paul and Lisa Chisholm both of England and by eight great grandchildren also by daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Andrews of Scarborough, On.. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased her husband Clifford and by a son; Ernest. The Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Dr. L. Buckingham officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery Riverview, NB Donations to the Palliative Care of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
