MYERS, JOSEPH ERVEN - The death of Joseph Erven Myers of Hampton, NB formerly of Minto, NB and Bathurst, NB occurred Thursday, December 04, 2003 at Westbrook, Maine. Born in New Waterford, NS he was the son of the late Vickie and Joseph (Lemoin) Myers. Joe was employed with NB Power, Bathurst for 34 years, was an avid Golfer and bowler. He travelled extensively and lived life to the fullest. Joe will be remembered as a great family man and friend. Survived by his loving wife Lorraine (Thebeau) Myers; two sons, Jason (Brooke) of Saint John, NB and Joey (Rachel) of Moncton, NB; a daughter, Lori Jo (Ward) of Ottawa, ON; three brothers Dwight (Mary Anne) and Leo (Leda) both of Minto, NB, Cedric of Prince George, BC; two sisters, Joanne Smith (Stephen) of Minto, NB and Marilyn of Valmont, BC; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by a brother Charlie Myers in 1999. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM, Monday, December 8th, 2003 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father P. Stephen officiating. Interment will take place in the Wallbridge Cemetery, Minto, NB.
