ESSON, MILLER HUBERT - Mr. Miller (Bub) Esson, 80, of Millerton, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, December 6th, surrounded by his wife and family. He is survived by: his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce; two sons: Jim of Millerton, NB; Miller (Lynn) of Fredericton, NB; two daughters: Ann (Nicky) Creamer of Millerton, NB; June (Brent) Carter of Fall River, NS; six grandchildren: Matt, Lyndsay and Peter Esson of Fredericton, NB; Julie (Jay) Somers of Calgary, AB; Josh (Naomi) Carter of Calgary, AB; Laura Carter of Calgary, AB; and two great-grandchildren: Jalen and Isaac Carter of Calgary, AB. He was predeceased by his parents, Miller Frederick and Gladys (Vanderbeck) Esson and by his brother, Jack. Miller, a man of quiet integrity, was well-known, well-liked and highly respected in the road building business to which most of his working years were devoted. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Tuesday form 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 PM in the Victory Baptist Church, South Esk Road (1/4 mile above the Enclosure), with Pastors Brent Carter and Vin Somers officiating. A private family burial will take place at the Derby United Church Cemetery in Millerton following the service and reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation or the New Brunswick Extra Mural Program or to a charity of the donor's choosing.
