CARTEN, FRED A. - Fred A. Carten, of Union Cross Road, Young's Cove, New Brunswick, passed away on December 10, 2003 at the age of 80. He was the son of the late Fred and Mary Elizabeth (Myles) Carten and the husband of Frieda (Sheehan) Carten. Fred is survived by his wife, two daughters, Nancy Reardon of Riverview, Rose Jenkins (Charles) of Youngs Cove, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
