MacPHERSON, PATRICIA ANN - The death of Patricia Ann MacPherson, 59, wife of Richard MacPherson occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on December 19, 2003. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of Mrs. Anna Sheppard and the late Malcolm (Mac) Sheppard. From infancy she attended the Saint John Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. In later years Patricia published the Good News of God's Kingdom, in two congregations in Montreal, two congregations in Fredericton, and four of the seven congregations that have developed from the original in Saint John. Patricia took great joy from the many blessings that Jehovah has given to his people. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Richard, her children; Corban (Cory) and children, Saint John, Anna (Mrs. Carl Harris) Fredericton, and children, Victoria (Mrs. David Victoria), Toronto, and Alexander (Chrystal) and children, Saint John. Also by her brother Robert (Beverly), Hampton, and family, her sister Paulette (Mrs. Randy Riley) Vancouver, as well as her niece, aunt, cousins, many friends, and most certainly by her dear mother. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 67 Magazine Street, (next to Fort Howe) on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at 2pm. Please gather with us, not to sorrow to excess, over a life lost, (1 Thessalonians 4: 13 & 14) but to celebrate a life well lived. (Proverbs 31: 10-31 (esp. verse 30) We rejoice over the resurrection hope. (Revelation 21: 3 & 4 Isaiah 35: 5-7) and the earthly paradise soon to come. (Matthew 6: 10 Psalm 37: 10 & 11). In lieu of flowers, Patricia and her family would appreciate contributions to the World Wide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses. Contributions can be placed in the box at the Memorial Service or given, in trust to any one of Jehovah's Witnesses. The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, with over six million ministers in the field at this time, is the world's largest completely unified body of preachers and teachers. Their literature supplier, The Watchtower Society, is the world's largest printer and distributor of accurate, modern language translations of the Bible. In the last fifty years alone, they have placed one Bible in part or in whole, for approximately every fifty persons on the planet. The times are critical and there is much work to do.
