MERCER, WINNIFRED ANNA (WINNIE) - The death of Winnifred A. Mercer, age 90, formerly of Norton, occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB, Friday, December 19, 2003. She was the wife of the late Tilley James Mercer, and daughter of the late George, and Sylvia (Cahill) Humphries. Winnie is survived by her daughter; Mary and Russell Webster, Norton. Three grandchildren; Roxanne and Randal McKnight, Norton, Rhonda and Mark Smith, Ajax, ON, Brian Webster and Jennifer Reagan, Toronto, ON. Five great grandchildren; Ryan, Miranda, Ramsey, Raylene and Rhea, several nephews, nieces. She was the last surviving member of her family. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton. Visiting, Sunday, 3 - 8 PM. Funeral service will be held from the Norton Wesleyan Church, Monday, December 22, 2003, at 2:00 PM.
