NELSON ROY PERRIN

PERRIN, NELSON ROY - Nelson Roy Perrin of Hoyt, N.B., passed away at Oromocto Public Hospital, December 22, 2003 at the age of 80. He was born in Clarendon, N.B., the son of the late Roy and Estella (Muir) Perrin. He was a veteran of WWII, serving overseas in the Carleton York Regiment. He was a faithful member of the Hoyt Baptist Church Inc. holding various offices throughout the years. He was actively involved in the Community over the years. He was an employee of the Dept. of National Defence, retiring in 1983. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis (Charleton) Perrin; two sons Blake, his wife Brenda, Oran, his wife Deborah, both of Wirral, N.B., one granddaughter Bridget Perrin-Gouthro, husband Bruce of New Glasgow, N.S., three grandsons, Jeffrey, his wife Kim, Charlottetown, P.E.I., Dennis of Edmonton, Alta., Anthony of Wirral, N.B.; two step-grandchildren, Mark Nason of Wirral, N.B., Amanda Duffy, husband Chad of Plaster Rock, N.B., three sisters Pearl Brown of Coquitlam, B.C., Doris Titus, husband Earl, Saint John, N.B., Lorna Wallace, husband Reuben, Clarendon, N.B., three brothers, Glen, wife Josie, Paris, Ont.; Donald, wife Jean, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B., Percy, wife Patricia, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B., several nieces and nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one infant daughter Brenda, sister Grace Colpitts and brother Irven. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. Funeral service will be from the Sunbury Funeral Home on December 24, 2003 at 2 p.m.. Interment to follow in the Patterson United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hoyt Baptist Church Inc., Parkinsons Foundation or donors choice. Arrangements are in the care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, N.B. (368-2413).
