Windsor/Sydney, N.S Gladys Bunn, 95, passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at the Windsor Elms Senior Home. Born in Sydney, she was daughter of the late Isaac and Mary (Crane) Wilson. Mom lived most of her life in Sydney. She loved her home and backyard, enjoyed music and spending time with her family. For more than 25 years, she was an active member of the Sydney Club 55. She travelled with the rhythm band to entertain ‘the old folks.’ She participated in many activities at the Elms, and was known for her wonderful smile and pleasantness. Mom will be greatly missed by her family, son, George, Sydney; daughters, Joyce (Cyril) Brown, Fall River, Diane (David) Andrews, Dartmouth, Linda (Larry) Meisner, Truro; 10 grandchildren, Glenn, Gary, Nancy, Sheri (Brown), Tanya, Lori, Dave (Andrews), Shawn, Darren and Scott (Wadman) and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter (1968), brothers, Earl, Owen, Harry, Kenny, sister, Ethel. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 25 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with Pastor Sheldon Chant officiating. Interment to follow in Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
