JAMES WILLIAM BROWN
BROWN, JAMES WILLIAM - Of Brown's Yard, NB died peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on January 6, 2004. James was born in Bathurst, NB and was the son of the late Matthew and Pricilla (Sawtell) Brown and husband of Lotty Brown. James was employed at CN Railway for 38 1/2 years holding various positions until his retirement from the Employee Relations Department. He was a life member of the Scottish Right and past president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Campbellton and was a member of Wesley Memorial United Church in Moncton. James enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage and he loved bluegrass music and camping. If your walking down the street one day and someone says "Are you a Turtle", think of Jim. He is survived by one son Peter Brown, three daughters Carol McLaughlin (Allan), Donna Coupal (Richard) and Sharon Brown (Ernie), one brother York Brown (Winnie), eight grandchildren Jonah, Luke, Jessica, Natasha, Theresa, Meghan, Joseph and Solaya and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of Dignity Cremation Services (642-1999). Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
