GORDON PRINGLE ANDERSON
ANDERSON, GORDON PRINGLE - Odell, Victoria County. The family of the late Gordon Pringle Anderson regrets to announce his passing at home on January 6, 2004. Born in Upper Kintore, Victoria County, June 24, 1914, he was the son of the late George and Emily (Meadows) Anderson. He owned and operated a farm in Odell and in later years worked as a millwright in the community until his retirement. He was a life long member of the United Church of Canada. He is survived by daughters Jackie (Eugene) Hill of Fredericton; Donna (Craig) Condon of Porters Lake, N.S.; and Alice (Daryl) DeMerchant of Fredericton; sister Alice Knight of Watertown, Connecticut; brother George of Debec, N.B.. He was loved by granddaughters Linda Hill, Stefanie and great granddaughter Jessica Oldreive; grandsonsMichael and Andrew DeMerchant. Gordon was predeceased by his wife Catherine (Smith), son Gordon Peter, sisters Christine, Beatrice, brothers Kenneth, Jimmie, Alexander (Sonny), half brothers William and Phillip, numerous nieces and nephews. His family will be receiving visitors from 7-9 PM on Friday January 9 at White's Funeral Home, Perth-Andover. Funeral Service will be held in White's Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM on Saturday January 10 with Rev. Maynard Rector officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Kintore Cemetery at a later date.
