NEIL BONNEY TITUS
TITUS, NEIL BONNEY - The death of Neil Bonney Titus, in his 93rd year, of Kingston, husband of Irene (Arsenault) (Hines) Titus occurred January 11, 2004 at Ridgewood Veterans Wing. He was born at Perry Point, son of the late Atherton and Blanche (Bonney) Titus. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a N.B. Ranger while in the army. He was a member of Kingston Baptist Church; Life Member of the Liberal Party; Life Member of Peninsula Branch #62, Royal Canadian Legion where he was Honourary President for two years and Legionnaire of the year. Survived by two daughters, Marilyn Craft (Ronald) of Saint John, Shirley Stanley (Roy) of Nauwigewauk; three sons, Neil "Buddy" Titus (Joyce) of Westfield, Allison Titus (Susan) of Saint John, William Titus (Phyllis) of Rothesay; two step-daughters, Karen Wilson of Saint John, Gail Hines of Summerville; one step-son, Paul Hines of Summerville; 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, three step-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary (Taylor) Titus in 1977, great granddaughter, Jenny Bates, sister, Mildred Wheaton and two brothers, Frank and George Titus. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Wednesday at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with service at 1:00pm. Rev. Jock Otis officiating. Interment in Erb's Cove Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer Society, Hospice, Multiple Sclerosis Society, or N.B. Heart & Stroke Foundation.
