O'NEIL, J. MAURICE "BUD" - of Halifax passed away on Sun. Jan. 11th 2004 at the V.G. site QEII. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Arthur Patrick and Genevieve ( Gorman) O'Neil. He retired as Atlantic Division Manager from T.J. Lipton Co. in 1979 after 30 years. In retirement he was an active member of Brightwood Golf and Country Club. Survived by daughters; Susan LeBlanc and husband Léon of Moncton; Jane Greek and husband Edgar of Halifax; Maura Hendrix and husband Tim of St. Petersburg, Fla; grandchildren Nicole and Denis LeBlanc; Danielle and Katie Hendrix; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, the former H. Maureen Lawlor, Brothers Arthur, T. Gerard "Gerry", and a sister Carmela Murphy. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Wed. in St. Lawrence R.C. Church Dutch Village Rd. Father Owen Connolly officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.
