80, Sydney Michael Leo Brennan, 80, of Sydney, passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility, Sydney. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Duhart) Brennan. Michael was employed for many years as a factory worker in Toronto, returning to Sydney in 1965. He was a former member of Sacred Heart parish. He is survived by his wife, the former Eva LaPolder; a sister, Elizabeth Brennan and a brother, John Brennan; along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary ‘Kaye’ Zinck and brother, Joseph Brennan. Visitation will take place at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel, Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
