57, Sydney It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Joe Lively passed away Sept. 30, 2008, at the age of 57. Joe was born in Sydney to the late Joseph and Margaret (Hayes) Lively. Leaving to mourn are his sons, Joey (Leigh), Raymond (Jen) and Derek. As well as two adorable grandsons, Cole and Braiden; special niece, (Squirt); Rose, mother of his three children and many extended family and friends, all of Oshawa. Also survived by his sisters, Sadie (Jerry) MacMullin, Florence Lewis, Mary Ann (Gary) Morrison, Rachael (Micheal) Ferrar; brothers, Benny (Jane), Michael, Sam, Neil (Tracy); many nieces and nephews, and special friend, Precious. Visitation will take place Thursday, Oct. 2 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at Immaculate Heart Church, Mira Road, with Fr. Gerald Dunphy officiating.
