SAVARD, ANNA MARIE - The death of Anna Marie Savard, wife of James Savard, of Saint John West, occurred on January 15, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born July 28, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Sarah McPhee. Anna's Joys in life were her children Sarah and Jim and her new grandson Liam. She loved to garden, do crafts and golf. Besides her husband Anna is survived by her daughter Sarah and John Scanlon of Maine, her son Jim and Wendy Savard of Ottawa, her grandson Liam David Scanlon, her sisters Florence and her husband Lloyd Bates of Saint John, Doris Miles of Saint John, Jean and her husband Sylvio Gagnon of Saint John, her brothers Larry and his wife Pat McPhee of Quispamsis, Eddy and his wife Lois McPhee of Saint John, John McPhee of Saint John, Wally and his wife Shirley McPhee of Saint John, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Joseph, Michael, Jimmy, Frank and Danny, and her sisters Irene, Jackie, Mary and Gertrude. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 19, 2004, at 11:00 AM, from Stella Maris Church.
