HENDERSON, LAURA H. "LOXIE" - Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, January 18, 2004, Miss Laura H. "Loxie" Henderson of Marysview Seniors Facility, Hampton, formerly of Rothesay and Nauwigewauk. Born at Darlings Island, N.B., July 1, 1904, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Lillian V. (Purves) Henderson. Laura was a resident of Saint John for twenty years and Rothesay for over twenty five years where she was a private duty nurse. She moved back to Nauwigewauk twenty five years ago. Laura was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Quispamsis, the A.C.W.; Kings County Historical Society, Nauwigewauk Darlings Seniors and was a Saint John General Hospital Alumni, Class of 1927. She was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Wednesday at Holy Trinity Church, Quispamsis, with service at 3:00 pm. Rev. Peter Gillies officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Quispamsis, in the spring.
