HOPPS, RALPH - Ralph Hopps passed away January 14th, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Dalhousie, NB he was the son of the late Kenneth and Georgina (Harquel). He was employed with Ocean Steel for over 40 years and belonged to the Masonic Lodge, Hibernia #3. Ralph is survived by a special friend Ann Reynolds, stepson Barry McMillan of London Ont. Two daughters, Debra (Richard) Rondeau of Cape Cod, Mass, and Brenda Gould of Antigonish, NS, three stepdaughters, Mary (Fred) Burns, Margaret Melanson and Barbara Pitt all of Saint John, one brother, Murray (Marion) Hopps of Sharron, Ont. Two sisters, Blanche (Clare) Durland of Middleton, NS and Hazel (Bruce) Hill of Mississauga, Ont. Four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and an aunt, Ruth Hopps and several cousins, nieces and nephews. By Ralph's request, there will be no visiting or funeral service. Fundy Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). Interment will follow in Antigonish, NS in the spring.
