ROBERTSON, MARJORIE I.H. - The death of Marjorie I.H. Robertson of Nauwigewauk, widow of J. Harold Robertson occurred January 18, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born at Hampton, daughter of the late George and Florence (Barnes) McAvity. Marjorie was a resident of United States from 1967-1986 when she moved to Nauwigewauk. She was a member of Nauwigewauk Darlings Seniors; Holy Trinity A.C.W., Quispamsis; and Kings County Historical Society. She is survived by two step-sons, John Robertson (Phyllis) of Connecticut, Tom Robertson of Alaska; one step-daughter, Deborah French (Daniel) of Rhode Island; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Oakley Shamper and two brothers, Arthur and Roy McAvity. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held in the spring at a time to be announced. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Quispamsis. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
