McALEENAN, HARRY W. - The death of Harry William McAleenan of St. George, occurred Sunday, January 25th, 2004 at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB. He was born in Digdeguash, NB in 1917. He is survived by three daughters: Eleanor Johnson (Raymond) of Saint John, Lynda McAleenan of Bedford, NS, Judith Fleiger (John) of Calgary, Alberta; one sister Madeline Oliver of Boston, Mass, USA; five grandchildren: Christopher and Gregory Johnson of Saint John, Jennifer, Jillian and Kristine Fleiger of Calgary, Alta; one great granddaughter Sydney Johnson of Saint John; one niece and several nephews. Harry was predeceased by his wife Irene and his mother and father Harry and Mary McAleenan. At his request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home and cremation will take place. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. George Catholic Church, St. George, NB at a later date. Interment will be in Bocabec Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the charity of the donors' choice.
