BUCKLEY, STUART D. (BUCK) - The death of Stuart Douglas (Buck) Buckley of Kennedy Street, Saint John, NB, husband of Nancy B. (Glenn) Buckley, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, February 6, 2004. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Murrey and Lillian (Logan) Buckley and had been a resident of Saint John most of his life. Buck was employed with N.B. Publishing for over 32 years, following which he worked at various newspapers in Montreal, PQ. He was a former member of Portland United Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three daughters, Gail Carr (Craig) of Saint John, Christy Buckley of Florida, USA and Wanda Buckley of Saint John; brother, Harold (Shirley) Buckley of Vancouver, BC; two sisters, Betty Cox of Missouri, USA and Judy Briggs (Rollie) of Evandale, NB; five grandchildren, Joey & Kyle Carr, Danielle Buckley, Emma Gibson and Chole Gibson; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Jack. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) where visitation will take place on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mr. Buckley will then be taken to rest at Chipman Funeral Home, Chipman, NB with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Chipman Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. www.brenansfh.com
