RETA I. COOKE
COOKE, RETA I. - Reta I. Cooke 90, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Lorentz Drive, Moncton passed away at her residence on Saturday February 7, 2004. Born in Dorchester Cape, daughter of the late Bedford and Ineva (Stiles) Buck. Reta was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, member of Lewisville United Baptist Church, former member of the church choir and the W.M.S. In past years she actively served her church on various boards, committees and other duties. Reta will be sadly missed by her husband of over 63 years, Medley M. Cooke; daughter, Diane Setchell (Frank), Rothesay; son, Allan (Mary), Moncton; grandchildren, Shawn, Rebecca, Tracey and Troy; great grandchildren, Michael, Allison, Benjamin, Christopher, Cate, Laura. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Gladys, Helena and Helen; one brother, Elmer. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Monday 2-4, 7-9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday February 10, 2004, 1:30pm, Rev. Gordon MacLeod officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Cemetery.
