RUTH V. (TRACEY) HORTON
HORTON, RUTH V. (TRACEY) - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on February 8, 2004 Ruth Valerie Horton (Tracey) of Saint John West. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late J. Edward and Grace D. (Gosline) Trecartin. Ruth was an adherent of the Lancaster Baptist Church and attended the Wednesday morning Bible Class. She enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by a special friend Charles H. Lawson; three sons Warrant Officer Mark Anthony Tracey and his wife Maz and their children Natalie Warmadam (Frank) of Ontario; son Shawn Tracey and his wife Kelly and their children Shawna and Jacob of B.C.; son Daryl Tracey and his wife Jean and their children Stephanie, Allan, Adam and Andrew of Bathurst; one daughter April Kim Roy and her husband Adrien and their children Mathieu Roy, wife Sophie and Valentine Roy of Saint John; three brothers Thomas Trecartin of Yellowknife, Paul Trecartin of Hampton, Nelson Trecartin and his wife Christine of Kingston; eleven sisters Florence Bulmer of Kingston, Marion Cheeseman of Saint John, Grace Thibodeau of Saint John, Phyllis Henry and her husband Louis of U.S.A., Thelma Edwards and her husband Stanley of Whitehead, Beatrice Crawshaw and her husband Robert of Saint John, Mary E. Trecartin of Saint John, Lois Robertson and her husband Ralph of Cambridge Narrows, Nancy Muller of U.S.A. and Dianne Fleming and her husband Clarence of Summerville and Esther Wilks and her husband Doug of Saint John; six great grandchildren; one aunt Ruth Trecartin and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband John Anglo Tracey. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue (634-1701). Funeral Service will be held at the Lancaster Baptist Church, Church Street, Saint John West on Thursday, February 12, 2004 at 1 p.m. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Donations to N.B. Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
