DIONNE, IDA - At Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home of Saint-Leonard, Friday, February 20, 2004, Mrs. Ida Dionne of Grand Falls passed away on her 93rd birthday. She was the wife of the late Alphonse Dionne who died in 1959. Born at Grand Falls in 1911, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Alphonsine (Thibodeau) Cormier. She was predeceased by a son, Conrad and a daughter Claudette. She is survived by three daughters, Raquel (Leo D. Levesque) and Huguette Dionne of Grand Falls and Bernadette (Real Cyr) of Siegas, three sons, Real (Marlene) of Grand Falls, Uriel (Rachel) of Bristol, Connecticut and Gregoire (Claire) of Grand Falls, daughter-in-law, Muriel Dionne of Grand Falls, one sister, Henriette Dionne of Grand Falls, 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Her funeral will be held Saturday, February 28th at 2 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Saint-Michel Cemetery, Drummond.
