HAWKINS, AUDREY GRETA - Following a lengthy Illness, the death of Mrs. Audrey Greta Hawkins, of Pennfield, NB., wife of Kenneth Hawkins, occurred on Friday, February 27, 2004 at her residence, with her family at her side. Born on May 4, 1922, in St. Stephen, NB, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Sarah Jane (Connors) O'Brien. Surviving besides her husband Kenneth, are two sons, Douglas (Linda Murphy), of St. Stephen, NB., and Russell (Donna) of Pennfield, NB., four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank O'Brien (Frances Lord) of Toronto, ON., many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Wilda and Anna, and one brother, Ralph. Audrey loved quilting, volunteering and travelling. She was a long time member of the Pennfield Presbyterian Church. No visiting at the Funeral Home, by request of the family. A memorial service in Audrey's honor will be held at Pennfield Presbyterian Church on Wednesday March 3, 2004 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Erik Kraglund officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Pennfield Presbyterian Church or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
