BURPEE, MALCOLM W. - Passed away on March 1, 2004 at his residence in Jacksontown, N.B. Malcolm William Burpee was born on September 15, 1936 to the late Ernest and Jennie (Cummings) Burpee. He is survived by his wife, Arleen (Carpenter) Burpee of Jacksontown, N.B., three sons - Richard (Joyce), Randy (Pam) and Roy (Mary) all of Jacksontown, N.B., daughter-in-law - Darlene (Burpee) Cochrane of Grand Bay, sister-in-law - Gladys Burpee of Woodstock, N.B., brother-in-law - James Tompkins of Woodstock, N.B., nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son - Roger Burpee, brother - Donald Burpee, and two sisters - Alberta Derrah and Rowena Tompkins. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Rd. in Jacksonville, N.B. where friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday March 3, 2004. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday March 4, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from the Jacksontown Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Little officiating. Internment will be in the Jacksontown Cemetery.
