COLWELL, IRENE - The death of Irene Colwell, wife of the late Lee Colwell, occurred on March 1, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Lewis D. and Alice C. (Duggan) Brown. She attended Lorne School and Saint John Vocational School. She was employed with Brown Grocery and Louise Millinery for several years. She was a member of St Andrew and St. David Church. She enjoyed music and playing for others. She is survived by her sister Audrey Brown of Saint John and her nieces and nephews. Her parents, her sisters Alberta Brown and Mabel Cavanaugh predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 PM only. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2004, at 2:15 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
