WILLENA MARGARET McCAULEY
McCAULEY, WILLENA MARGARET - The death of Willena (Cleary) McCauley, age 69, of Quispamsis, wife of Gordon McCauley, occurred at Saint John Regional Palliative Care Unit, on Thursday, March 18, 2004 . She was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (McGowan) Cleary. She is survived by her husband, sons; Boll and Wendy Anderson, Fredericton, John and Holly Anderson, Lower Sackville, NS, step-daughter; Linda and Danny Armstrong, Quispamsis, step-son; Tom McCauley, Quispamsis, grandchildren Mitchel, Meghan, Matthew, McKenzie and Cameron and several cousins. She was predeceased by granddaughter Marielle. Willena graduated from St. Stephen High School in 1952 and was a graduate of Nursing School in Eastern Maine Medical General Hospital in 1955. She worked in several areas of nursing before settling into geriatric settings where she excelled as both teacher and leader. From 1977 to 2001, she worked at Turnbull Nursing Home as Director of Nursing. A faithful member of Central Norton United Baptist Church in Bloomfield, NB. since 1976 where she served in many capacities including choir member and Sunday School Superintendent. There will be visitation at Central Norton United Baptist Church 435, Route 121, Bloomfield, Monday, from 4 to 8 p.m. The family will also receive visitors at 1:00 p.m., prior to the Service of Remembrance to be held Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at Central Norton United Baptist Church.
