SNODGRASS, WINNIFRED - At her home on Thursday March 18, 2004, Winnifred Colby Snodgrass of Grand Bay/Westfield wife of the late John Edward Snodgrass. Born in Saint John a daughter of the late Hartley and Nora (Thurber) Ellis. She was a resident of Grand Bay for the past 46 years and was a graduate of Saint John High School having worked at the Lancaster DVA Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital. Surviving are five sons; John C. and his wife Brenda of Campbell River B.C., James E. and his wife Linda of Nerepis N.B., Ronald E. and his wife Pamela of Surrey B.C., Donald A. of Campbell River B.C. and Harold and his wife Lori of Grand Bay/Westfield, N.B., one brother Hartley Ellis of Lindsay Ont., six grandchildren; Lisa, Jamie, Ryan, Billy, Christopher and Sarah, four great grandchildren; Lucus, Abigail, Julia and Ella, four nieces and nephews; Sheila, Heather, Susan and Brian. Predeceased by her husband John Edward Snodgrass. Resting at CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. West Saint John (634-1701). Funeral Service will be held at Fallsview Chapel, 1pm Saturday March 20, 2004. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Visiting at Fallsview on Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
