WEST, CLARA EVELYN (DOHERTY) - At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, on Tuesday, March 16th, 2004 Clara Evelyn (Doherty) West, age 93 years; Survived by son Keith (Mary) West of Chipman; by daughters Nina Stewart and Gladys Bigger of Saint John, Edythe Jardine and Anne (Murray) Bishop of Chipman, Patricia (David) Jordan of Albrights Corner; by brother Walter (Mona) Doherty of Chipman, by 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Victor West, by son Gerald West, by daughter Sylvia Huntjens, by grandsons Tony West, Peter Huntjens and Alvin West, by great-grandson Phillip Jardine and sister Gladys West. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home (339-6612) until Friday when funeral services will be held from Saint Augustine's Anglican Church, at 2:00p.m. with Rev. Eileen Irish officiating. Spring interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 7-9 p.m. only. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Augustine's Anglican Church or the charity of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. The Legion Ladies Auxiliary will hold a memorial service at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
