HOOPER, JEAN MARGUERITE (JOHNSTON) - The death of Mrs. Jean Marguerite (Johnston) Hooper, of Collingwood Rest Home Pennfield, NB, Widow of Merrill Hooper, occurred on Saturday, March 27, 2004, at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB. Born in Back Bay, NB on August 28, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Estella (Mitchell) Johnston. Jean is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary and Ruth, and one brother Gartley. Jean is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. No visiting by family request. A private family Service was held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the St. George Funeral Home, with Canon David Genge. Interment will take place in the Spring at the St. George Rural Cemetery. Memorial donation's to the Cancer Society or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
