JULIEN "JOE" VAUTOUR

VAUTOUR, JULIEN "JOE" - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 27th, 2004, Julien Joseph Vautour, of West Saint John, NB, husband of the late Lorette (Bastarache) Vautour. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late Laurent and Auriele (Guimond) Vautour. A veteran of World War II, Joe served with the Royal Canadian Navy aboard Swift Current as an Able Seaman. Returning home from the war Joe worked as a Longshoreman with the Port of Saint John and then went on to work with Floods as a Carpenter. He was also a member of St. Rose Church. Joe is survived by his sister Yvonne LeBlanc (Lionel), brother Alfred (Shirley) both of Saint John, brother Norman of Edmonton, Alberta, cousins, nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by three sisters Imelda White (Clifford), Bertha Dunn (Bernard), Delima LeMoine (Louis), brothers Albenie and Lawrence. Resting at CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 28th, 2004 at 12:00 noon at St. Rose de Lima Church. The interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
