OUELLETTE, ETHEL M. - died gracefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 31, 2004. Born in St. Louis de Kent, NB. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Aurelie (Doucette) Mazerolle. Wife of Fernand (Gilles) Ouellette. Ethel loved quilting and camping in the Cambridge Narrows and was an avid bowler with the KV Seniors League. She also belonged to the Beaus and Belles Square Dancing Club and was a member of Irving Retirees. Ethel was a long time member of St. Marks Roman Catholic Church. Besides her husband she is survived by one son Paul Ouellette of Saint John, two daughters Darlene (Don) Isnor of Quispamsis and Sheila Sweet of Saint John, three brothers Alyre Mazerolle and Elzear Mazerolle both of Cornwall, Ont. and Alex Mazerolle of St. Louis de Kent, one sister Flora Flemming of Dartmouth, NS. Seven grandchildren Kellie, Ashley, Sheelagh and Daniel Sweet, Laura, Nathan and Jason Isnor, one great grandchild Lauryn Sweet. Resting at the A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home (634-1712) 91 Leinster Street, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Marks Roman Catholic Church, Pettingill Road, Quispamsis on Saturday at 10:00 am., followed by a reception at the church. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Tuesday at 2pm. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. There will be a St. Marks Prayer Vigil Friday at 8:00 pm. at the funeral home. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Vincent de Paul would be appreciated by the family.
